Hadith from Sahih Bukhari

Narrated Abu Musa: Some people asked Allah's Apostle, "Whose Islam is the best? i.e. (Who is a very good Muslim)?" He replied, "One who avoids harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands."

Translation


ابو موسی نے کہا: بعض لوگوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا، "کون اسلام سب سے بہتر ہے؟ یعنی (ایک بہت اچھا مسلمان کون ہے)؟" اس نے جواب دیا، "جو شخص اپنی زبان اور ہاتھوں سے مسلمانوں کو نقصان پہنچانے سے روکتا ہے."

Narration

Abu Musa narrated that  some people asked Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), "Whose Islam is the best? i.e. who is a very good Muslim?
 Prophet Muhammad replied that One who avoids harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands.

Aisha (the mother of faithful believers) narrated : The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Apostle was in the form of good dreams which come true like bright day light, and then the love of seclusion was bestowed upon him. He used to go in seclusion in the cave of Hira where he used to worship ( Allah alone) continuously for many days before his desire to see his family. He used to take with him the journey food for the stay and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his food likewise again till suddenly the truth descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angels came near him and asked him to read . The Prophet replied, "I don't know how to read.
